Ali Cinar
Ali Cinar started his adult life as a professional soccer player in his native Turkey winning a national championship, before returning to school. After graduating with degrees in architecture and civil engineering in Ankara, Turkey, Ali was hired as a Branch Director and Project Manager building schools, government court houses and a Coca Cola Factory in Libya in the mid-1980s.

Returning to Turkey until the mid-90s, Ali worked with a Turkish-American joint venture company overseeing the construction of military factories for the production of F16 jets, light armoured vehicles and housing for the workers.

The prestigious opportunity of working for the Russian government presented itself to Ali in the mid-90s when the country first opened its’ doors to qualified and respected contracting companies to help build the nation. Ali acted as a Project Manager and presenter to the Kremlin and until 2006, he worked building everything from a bread factory, social housing, to a hospital particularly for the Kremlin that was over one million square feet of finished space.

In 2005, after researching great universities for his son, he and his family decided to settle in Halifax, NS. Planning to retire, Ali soon found himself building homes in the popular Bedford area. His quality was quickly respected by peers and trades people and led to him creating Bosphorus Home Construction. He enjoys being able to focus his attention on individual homes for a beautifully finished final product. His extensive world travels influence his work.
